Introduction to Outer Spherical Bearings and Scope of Application of Outer Spherical Bearings: Outer spherical bearings are mainly used to withstand combined radial and axial loads, mainly radial loads. Generally, they are not suitable for bearing axial loads alone. This type of SKF bearing can be installed with inner rings (with a complete set of rollers and retainers) and outer rings separately. This type of bearing does not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the casing, and will generate additional axial force under radial load. Outer spherical bearings are preferred for applications that require simple equipment and components, such as in household machinery, transportation systems, or construction machinery. An outer spherical ball bearing unit consists of a double-sided sealed spherical outer ring deep groove ball bearing and a gray cast iron or stamped steel plate bearing seat. Most outer spherical ball bearings are fixed bearings, so they are particularly suitable for supporting short shafts and are suitable for situations where only minimal thermal expansion occurs. The small thermal expansion of the shaft can be compensated by the axial clearance of the bearing.
